Updated function for estimation of Root Length from Root biomass
Previous version only considered C Root and not C Old Root for estimating the root length. This is now changed so both Fine root pools are considered.
Information about new model features
Previous version only considered C Root and not C Old Root for estimating the root length. This is now changed so both Fine root pools are considered.
The growth stage funtion is now updated to the post harvest value (GSI Post Harvest) as assigned by the user from the plant behaviour Table During winter regulation of plant The GSI will be assigned […]
The Last stage of GSI from 3 to 4 according to the scale from full grain filling to a stage of harvest was previously regulated only by a time function. This step has now been […]
The new version is now including optional outputs to compare the global warming potential of greenhouse gas emissions using the conversion factor for CO2 equivalents. The recent factors are based on IPCC recommendation with 28 […]
MultiRuns with the CoupModel are mostly linked with some type of uncertainty based method to constrain the model outputs based on the agreement between one or more model outputs with corresponding measurements. This is done […]
A new parameter called : HeatConversionCoef is defined to estimate the heat source of each soil layer that corresponds to the decomposition of Litter, Litter2 and Humus of each soil layer. The default value is […]
The new version 5.4.4 includes a new output called the Zadok scale. The Zadok value is a function of the previous GSI, Growth Stage Index. Linear interpolation is used to obtain a Zadok value from […]
This new version has new viewing functions especially for the hydrological parts of the model. The Viewing Parameter functions have been updated and with many new views. Still there are remaining gaps in the different […]
The Photosynthesis function is by default governed by Air Temperature, Nitrogen and Water Availability in the CoupModel in addition to the control of light interception and optionally CO2 concentrations in the atmosphere. The control of […]
The new function to reduce respiration due to high CO2 concentrations in the soil introduced is now further developed by adding one additional parameter to allow a zero impact on normal CO2 concentrations in soils. […]
