One common problem with climate data when making simulation are the lack of continous measurements of all variables from the site of interest. Various methods exist for how to make estimations based on the available information. The CoupModel does not provide sofisticated methods for data estimations but it allow you to simple combine and compare data. It also provide basic methods for interpolation and data extrapolations outside the period that is available from measurements.
In the example below 2 data products of climate data will be combined to allow various simulation approaches. Comparing the quality of simulations using a simple data of only Precipitation and Air Temperature with a complete data for also Humidity, Wind Speed, Global Radiation and Incoming Long Wave radiation.
